Progress Update 18-07-08 - Slow Day, Take it Easy

Today has been exceptionally quiet, which is typical of a Friday in the world of online earnings, with very few new opportunities coming my way so I don't have a great deal to report. I have pretty much spent the day doing my daily routine - clicking on ads, signing-up to any free offers that are still available and filling out surveys - and nothing else. In fact I haven't spent much time doing that as so far I have only received 6 survey invites for today, and out of those I only qualified for 3. And if there is one thing I dislike about surveys is not qualifying, especially when you know its about to happen! I am sure you have been there, doing a $5 survey and early on a question pops up, which you know if you tell the truth to you will be disqualified from that survey. Pain in the butt thats for sure though some survey sites are more lenient than others - I think the most lenient has to be Panel Base - few survey invites but 9/10 acceptance, which leads to me to suspect they prescreen you - whilst the harshest ones are definitely Home of Research, Ciao and GobalTestMarket - I get about 3-5 surveys per day between the three of these sites (about 80 surveys altogether) yet have only qualified for about 5-7 surveys from them altogether.

Anyway enough of my ranting because despite how quiet today has been I still some things worth mentioning:

- My website traffic is pouring in apparently and I have already had over 4,000 hits according to the stat counter on my ad campaign page. I have to say I am little bit dubious of this website traffic as my hits counter is still under 400, but according to Web Traffic Wholesale this is to be expected as they actually rotate a cached version of my blog and the hits on this will not register on my hit counter. More concerning though then this is that despite these 4,000+ hits I have had no further referrals and I suspect it will prove a fruitless venture. Oh well you win some, you lose some!

- YouCubez have credited me for the Depacco offer that I completed. I now have £10 worth of cube funds but as yet no cube to spend it on, and it costs £1 - £2 to buy a cube depending on whether you buy a basic or a gradient cube respectively. It is still holding out as an awesome site though and has some really good free offers to sign-up to

- Last night I signed up to 20 Million Hits, which I think you can probably guess from its title is a site that promotes a system through which you could be getting millions of hits! This system is basically a pyramid system but instead of money being obtained, you will obtain hits and it is completely free to join. Yes it is dependent on once again getting referrals - isn't everything in the world of online earning dependent on referrals! - and then your referrals getting referrals of their own, and so on, but its worth a try as website traffic is so crucial to getting somewhere in this generally slow moving business. I don't have a referral link yet for this site though as I have so far only completed the first phase of the sign-up process, which is viewing the 8 sites in the chain.

- Previously I have had a moan about not being credited for offers I have completed but after some further investigation I now realize that in can in fact take up to 60 days for some of the offers to be credited so I am just going to be patient. If they still haven't shown within 8 weeks from now, then I will be kicking up a real stink!
